Kentucky HOME INFUSION THERAPY

If your prescribed therapies can be safely managed at home, home infusion therapy may offer an alternative to lengthy hospital stays.

Under the guidance and instruction of registered nurses and pharmacists skilled in high-tech services, you or the person you are caring for can receive and administer your own infusion therapies.

Sharicom Health Home Infusion can help determine if your private insurance covers home infusion services. Medicare covers the cost of all nursing visits and some pain, heart and chemotherapy medications. Medicaid covers the cost of all medications.

Our home infusion services include the medications, products, supplies, equipment, and instruction needed. 

Examples of services include, but are not limited to:

• Antibiotics
• Anticoagulation medication
• Chemotherapy
• Enteral nutrition
• Hydration
• Inotropic therapy
• Pain management
• Steroid therapy
• Total parenteral nutrition

This service is provided by specially trained registered nurses who administer IV therapy and teach your caregiver how to care for you at home. Nurses are on call and available 24 hours a day to provide service and consultation.
